Atlanta police rescued a two missing children Sunday from a trailer after they allegedly were kidnapped by an acquaintance who was babysitting them.

Officers met with a woman at around 10:30 p.m. after she called police about her missing children, the department stated in a social media post that included body camera footage. The woman told officers that her children had been missing since about 10 p.m. Saturday after she had an acquaintance, identified as Lakesha Brown, babysit them while she was at dinner.

When the woman returned home, she made numerous unsuccessful attempts to reach Brown. Finally, she contacted police.

Officers located the woman, and when they reached the scene, they heard a child crying inside a trailer. Body camera footage captured police using a cinder block to force entry into the trailer, and the children, as well as Brown, were found inside.

Police reunited the children with their mother.

Brown was taken into custody and charged with kidnapping.
