Newly released body camera video shows two Shaker Heights, Ohio police officers save a choking baby.

Officers Alex Oklander and Ryan Sidders stepped out of their cruiser Tuesday morning and rushed into action to save a 2-month-old baby who was choking, according to WEWS-TV.

The video shows Oklander and Sidders tapping the baby's back. Eventually, she can be heard gasping for air.

"I can hear air moving," Sidders can be heard saying. "OK, she's moving air. OK, she's breathing."

The infant's mother is thankful the officers were able to get to her in time.

"When you're a parent, and your baby’s choking, you don't think about nothing but saving your baby's life," Tamica Pruitte. told the news station.

The officers said that they're glad their response had a positive outcome.

"I was hoping all my training would save the baby's life -- I was praying," Sidders said.
