ThorShield ECD protection

While body armor saves lives and less-lethal devices such as electric stun guns prevent some fatal encounters, officers remain exposed if their body armor does not include ThorShield. ThorShield is a durable, lightweight, conductive material lining that effectively protects officers from electroshock weapons. Sewn to the inside of a concealable or tactical carrier, ThorShield's lining is breathable, flexible and comfortable. Since ThorShield is a conductive fabric it completes the circuit of any electroshock or stun device. The resistance of the fabric is less than the resistance of the human body therefore; the current of the stun device will always follow the path of least resistance which in this case is the ThorShield material. ThorShield is available from Point Blank Solutions and PACA Body Armor products for law enforcement officers only.
