The Tac Dry Rain Shell is the newest addition to the 5.11 Tactical MultiCam line. The most innovative feature of this jacket is a patent pending QUIXIP technology, which was developed by working closely with law enforcement and concealed carry permit holders. The advanced QUIXIP system allows for quick access a holstered side arm. The Tac Dry Rain Shell recently received a 4.82 rating out of a possible 5.0 in the National Tactical Officers Association’s (NTOA’s) Member Tested and Recommended Program. Designed to be worn on or off duty, in undercover or covert carry situations, the 5.11 Tactical MultiCam Tac Dry Rainshell features the latest in advanced waterproof, breathable outerwear technology. This lightweight outer shell is fully waterproof, seam sealed and breathable, and has a longer public safety cut for use over a holstered side arm. With five total pockets, three inside and two large hand warmer pockets on the outside, this jacket includes many cold weather features including a draw cord in each pocket to cinch up the waistband when the temperature drops. In addition, there is a removable waterproof hood that can also be rolled down and stowed in the collar.
