Reflectec BA

Reflectec BA ballistic and body armor inserts have been tested to repel 97 percent of radiant heat away from the wearer in summer conditions and to retain body heat in excess of 85 percent in winter conditions.The MSR Industries system utilizes the Reflectec Fabric, a NASA spin-off technology with layers of other flame and moisture repelling components. The Reflectec BA system works with any ballistic vest and body armor manufacturer's design to make an innovative ballistic-heat repelling system - without gel packs, external plugs, hoses or other harsh materials currently used to keep peacekeepers cool. The Reflectec BA inserts are lightweight (each set approx. 12 ounces) and comfortable enough to wear all day long.
