PRE-SHOT Show "Heads Up"
Yes, fans, it's that time of year again. Next week in Las Vegas, Nevada, the Shooting, Hunting & Outdoor Trade (SHOT) Show will happen. SHOT Show is the largest show held each year that supports anything related to hunting, camping, fishing, backpacking and everything that might be attached to law enforcement or military if it's manufactured by the same represented companies. Last year, according to the SHOT Show website, over 61,000 people attended the 2012 event. Of them, nearly 2,500 were media representatives (that's a lot of reporting). There were attendees from every state in our country as well as from 100 OTHER countries. With over 1,600 exhibitors and 630,000 square feet of exhibit space... well, you get the idea; it's a BIG show. Yes, folks, we'll be there again this year.
This year the entire editorial team for the Cygnus Law Enforcement Group which includes Officer.com, Law Enforcement Technology magazine and Law Enforcement Product News, will be at SHOT Show. We will be finding the latest, greatest, coolest, neatest and of most valuable items for our law enforcement readership whether it's equipment for work/duty or equipment to help you enjoy your off-duty recreational time.
To make sure you get to see all that "latest and greatest" as soon as it's posted, make sure you take the following steps:

All of those subscriptions are FREE and provide valuable info you can use every day on the job.
So, as we members of the editorial team walk around SHOT Show, we'll post info to Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin as we can. Connectivity at the Sands Convention Center hasn't always proven reliable in the past, but we'll rise to the challenge as best we can to make sure we bring you the most interesting information as quickly as we can.
Stay tuned!
