A group of men pulled up alongside an NYPD traffic enforcement agent in Manhattan and blasted him in the face with a fire extinguisher, police said Monday.

The trio were in a gray sedan when they approached the 43-year-old traffic agent, who was sitting in a marked NYPD vehicle near the corner of Saint Nicholas Ave. and W. 118th St. in Harlem around 6:50 a.m. Thursday, cops said.

Video posted to social media shows the men slowly pull up to the driver’s side of the car the agent was sitting in.

“Yo,” a menace in the front passenger seat says to get the agent’s attention.

The man then discharged the extinguisher, blasting the agent in the face as a passenger in the back seat records.

The men then sped off maniacally laughing, the video shows.

Medics took the traffic agent to Mount Sinai Morningside in stable condition.

Cops on Monday identified Escarlin Polanco Gonzalez, 19, as one of the men involved in the attack.

They asked anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS.
