KINGSTON, Jamaica -- Police in Jamaica have seized roughly 200 pounds (90 kilograms) of marijuana in a rural southwestern parish.

A Sunday police statement says the packages of marijuana were seized during a raid in St. Elizabeth parish. There have been no arrests.

The U.S. State Department says Jamaica is the Caribbean's largest producer and exporter of marijuana. Marijuana plants are grown mostly on mountain hillsides or hidden among other crops.
