The STING from Security Products International is an ultra miniature hard drive digital recorder. Measuring just 3.07 inches by 2.3 inches by .09 inches, including internal Lithium Ion battery, this unit can be used in multiple applications and countless scenarios requiring miniature high-quality video and audio recording. Featuring MPEG 2 compression, the STING boasts full screen DVD image quality at 30 FPS and up to 8 hours of recording time (utilizing the optional external battery pack). It features a detachable vibrating remote control with failsafe video sync detect circuit, including end of memory and low battery warning. The removable Micro Drive allows for quick switch out in seconds when memory is full. It has a 3.5mm mini-jack for A/V input, LED verification and a rapid 100-240-volt fast charger comes standard with the unit.
