The MobiMed system wirelessly transmits vital patient information to a receiving hospital, in real time, allowing the physician to immediately evaluate the patient's critical information and issue orders for paramedics to initiate lifesaving drug therapy on the patient while enroute to the hospital. From Ortivus North America, the MobiMed System consists of three parts, the MobiMed Patient Unit, the MobiMed Hospital Work Station and the MobiMed Information System. Together, they form a scaleable and complete tool for providing pre-hospital diagnosis support, decision support, documentation and follow-up.
