Brijot WDS (weapons detection system)

Aug. 20, 2007
The Brijot WDS (weapons detection system) can be placed anywhere, indoors or outdoors, and operates with or without a light source. It operates just like a video camera and can capture a distance of up to 80 feet away. The output of the camera is real-time NTSC (PAL) video allowing for fast detection on moving tagets. For example, the video speed of WDS captures 14 images (frames) of a person running at 10 mph at a distance of 20 feet from the unit. Anything that passes within its field of view will be analyzed for concealed weapons. If a suspicious object is detected, the WDS software will mark the target and alert security personnel. The WDS unit can be integated into any existing security system via its standard NTSC (PAL) video coax output. It also has both Ethernet and USB digital outputs for integration into digital security systems.
