Here are some of the stories you may have missed that ran on our site this week:

Weekend (March 14-16)

Trinity University police officer died Friday, two days after falling ill while on duty.

Officer Marc Uland Kelley responded to a fire alarm call at a residence hall on the Texas campus when he suffered a heart attack.

The man suspected of shooting an off-duty Baltimore police sergeant turned himself in Sunday.

Gregg Thomas was arrested at police headquarters in the Friday night shooting of Sgt. Keith Mcneill.

An off-duty Chicago officer on his way home from work was killed Friday morning in the when his car was struck by a van that had been fleeing police.

Chief Deputy Allen Ray “Pete” Richardson was transporting Michael Lee Ackart to a shelter when police say the man reached over and grabbed the steering wheel, causing the cruiser to swerve into oncoming traffic.

A Westford, Mass. police sergeant recalled pulling an injured man out of the path of a rolling truck following a crash Tuesday morning.
