Search Warrant Preparation

This 8 hour basic training course is necessary for every law enforcement officer, detective and supervisor who takes part in search warrant preparation and arrest operations. This class will provide the student with valuable skills, using all available resources and methods of obtaining critical information on target locations. This instruction also discusses safety measures and methods to reduce liability for law enforcement and focuses on topics ranging from scouting, surveillance methods, gathering intelligence, essential checklists, forms, briefing and warrant service. Instructors will provide and discuss real life scenarios and discuss the tools they use on a daily basis. Class instruction will be supported by a power point presentation, photographs and videos. This class does not discuss tactics in forced entry and methods of tactical movement.
