INJURED/DOWNED OFFICER RESCUES COURSE

This course is designed for patrol level operations. Topics that will be covered are: Rescues from a structure Deployment of a Ballistic Shield during rescues 4-man Diamond formation rescue One vehicle rescues Two vehicle rescues Each participant needs to bring the following: Handgun (No ammunition will be needed) Duty belt with holster or tactical belt with holster Flashlight Eye Protection Note taking material Participants should bring an older patrol car with working overhead lights. Optional Equipment: Elbow and Knee Pads
