Course content increases concentration on subjects and situations and gives you confidence in your ability to see, react and make split second decisions. This course compliments trainings in communication, tactics and reading people. This training takes you to the next level with more tools for the situations you come in contact with. High stress and low key events will be discussed. PowerPoint and videos will be used to compliment the education and make this an enjoyable training day. Intended Audiences This course is intended for anyone dealing with difficult people or potentially dangerous situations. Great training for: all law enforcement personnel, probation, corrections, campus safety, security, liquor control, gaming enforcement, parks staff, investigators, government inspectors, government examiners, TSA, ICE, BLM, USFS, USBP, DOE, Fire, EMS, and their support staff and volunteers. Captain Joe Puckett has responded to many critical incidents and dealt with many difficult people and situations in his 20 years of law enforcement experience. His edge in those situations was his extreme interest in and attention to human behavior and the human response to words and actions. Joe Puckett brings to this training his diverse experience which included service as a crisis/hostage negotiator, first responder and investigator. Mr. Puckett also addresses a diverse audience and their learning needs from his duties which included administrative and human resources experience, airport and event/location security, dignitary protection and dealing with the public on non-criminal related matters. He has been a public safety instructor since 1991. He has instructed from the local level to the federal level of personnel and has a wide range of previous audience members from human resources to adult and family services to security, private investigators, public safety and c! riminal justice personnel.
