Tenn. Sheriff's Deputy Out on Patrol Killed in Single-Vehicle Crash

As a deputy, Mowery worked evening patrols, and he earned a spot on the agency's SWAT team in December 2021. Before joining the sheriff's officer, Mowery served as a security officer at University of Tennessee Medical Center.
