The York County Office of Emergency Management thanked the team on Facebook for honoring the officers.

The three officers were killed Sept. 17 while investigating a domestic-violence stalking case. The gunman ambushed the officers from inside the house.

An unidentified Northern York County Regional Police officer and Lt. David Godfrey, a 24-year veteran of the York County Sheriff’s Office, were injured in the fighting. They are in satisfactory condition.
