Commander Aaron Minor blew the whistle on Assistant Police Chief Richard Slavin for alleged homophobic comments at a meeting of high-ranking Scottsdale police officers in May. Five months and two internal investigations later, Commander Minor was fired and he was told in a letter he has no right to appeal.
