Peer Support Unit Helps Sacramento Police Officers

Two officers in the Sacramento Police Department are helping fellow officers. They make up the Peer Support unit, which is aimed at counseling and providing other services to people in the department. The unit became fulltime about a decade ago after two Sacramento officers committed suicide -- a wake-up call to the demands of the job.
