The man picked to run the Baltimore City School Police Department said he has a new vision for the force. A week after being named the district's top cop, Akil Hamm said he'll continue to put students first. Hamm is no stranger to the school police department. He has been on the force for almost two decades and spent about the past year as acting police chief.
