The Roadrunner vehicle traffic counter/classifier/ speed analyzers from Roadway Data are machined from solid aircraft aluminum for strength against vandalism and the elements. These compact units are 3 1/4 inches by 2 1/2 inches by 1 1/4 inches and weigh 12.5 ounces. Roadrunners come in single-tube or two-tube models that require no maintenance, and there are no batteries to change for the life of the counters (about 10 years).
