MANSFIELD, Louisiana -- A DeSoto Parish Sheriff's deputy was killed while on duty Wednesday
Deputy Donna Richardson-Below died in a two-vehicle crash, according to a news release.
"Deputy Richardson-Below was a beacon of light and impacted all who knew her," DeSoto Parish Sheriff Jayson Richardson said in a statement.
Richardson-Below had been with the DeSoto Parish Sheriff’s Office since January of 2019 and had previously been an agent with Louisiana Probation and Parole. W
Funeral arrangements are pending.
