SmartCOP, Inc. is pleased to welcome Marion County, Florida to our Florida group of agencies working to keep the public safe. Marion county will be implementing our Records Management System, SmartRMS, as well as Mobile Computing with Field-Based Reporting.
We are glad to have Marion County trust us, and SmartCOP will provide the excellent customer service and software they need to keep their citizens safe. Through their purchase, 285 field officers will be outfitted with our Mobile Computing Terminals that will be fully integrated with the RMS software. SmartRMS will also provide more efficient reporting capabilities that will greatly benefit Marion County. Our SmartMOBILE software also works seamlessly with SmartRMS to provide an offline solution. In an environment where an officers may become disconnected, SmartMOBILE still has full reporting capabilities. These reports will simply be uploaded to the server for full integration with SmartRMS once a connection has been re-established.
Through our partnership, SmartCOP gains another connection within Florida as we now serve 28 of the 67 counties in the state. The addition of our software in the centralized Marion County will begin to help them in countless ways, and we look forward to seeing their growth as a result.
