PacketWriter V3.7

BIO-key International Inc. has made available PacketWriter V3.7. PacketWriter is a wireless field reporting application, enabling police officers to write and submit reports for approval right from their vehicles. As a result, officers spend less time filling out paperwork and more time policing in their communities. PacketWriter includes accident, incident, and citations software modules that enable officers in the field or in the office to electronically report on the major categories of policing including crash reports; incidents such as burglary, assault, arson, and homicide; and citations for traffic and parking violations. This new release of PacketWriter provides enhanced multi- jurisdictional support and includes features critical to data sharing and regionalization, allowing multiple police departments to share selected information in a common database, while keeping sensitive information appropriately protected.
