The Road MASSter II was developed by Intelligent Computer Solutions Inc. for U.S. law enforcement to be able to have everything they need to seize forensically sound data copies and examine a suspect's hard drive on location, while maintaining the integrity of the copied data using advanced hashing methods such as CRC32, SHA1, SHA2 and MD5. The Road MASSter II unit allows high-speed data transfers between the following interfaces: FireWire, USB, UDMA IDE 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch, Serial ATA, FDD, CDR/DVD drive, 1GIGA network, USB memory stick, or Ultra SCSI. Examine either the suspects' hard drive or evidence hard drive or copy the hard drive directly under Windows XP. An audit trail report can be saved to memory or can be printed to use as evidence in court. The unit also enables the investigator to wipe out the external hard drive before capture, or the remainder of the drive after acquisition, to Department of Defense specs.
