LAGUNA HILLS, Calif. – October 11, 2017 – cFiveTM Solutions and San Mateo County announced that the county has launched the cFive Supervisor supervision management solution to support the San Mateo County Probation Department’s vision “to be a proactive and innovative agency which facilitates positive changes in offenders’ behaviors that reduce recidivism and foster a law-abiding lifestyle.”
San Mateo County Probation Department, which operates the county's probation and juvenile institutions, chose cFive’s supervision solution as part of its focus on using evidence-based tools and practices to enhance community safety, reduce crime, and assist victims of crime through offender accountability and rehabilitation.
Central to the decision to work with cFive was San Mateo County’s interest in being able to measure offender outcomes and create efficiencies that would enhance their functional and operational needs.

Utilizing a robust, configurable system, cFive Supervisor helps San Mateo County better supervise their probation population and automate daily probation and juvenile detention functions across eleven facilities.
The San Mateo County Probation Department has over 400 employees who supervise approximately 3,700 adults and 355 juvenile offenders, and houses a daily average of approximately 145 juveniles in three residential facilities. San Mateo is cFive’s fifth customer in California.
