Utah, November 2022- Recently, the Cold Case Foundation launched its Global Academy. The Global Academy offers courses for civilians and law enforcement. These courses are live, in-depth, and interactive, and provide a certificate of attendance.

An upcoming course will be taught by Investigator and Crime Analyst, Hilary Rodela. Hilary is a former CSI, and forensic expert, and currently investigates with the Cold Case Foundation. Hilary is also a published author and has been an editor of a law enforcement publication. She has developed over 15 investigative courses. Hilary also serves on her state board for Private Investigators.

Course Title: Crime Scene Investigation: the Real World

Course Description: Love true crime? Fascinated by science? This masterclass is for you! Investigator and Crime Analyst Hilary Rodela will take you through her career as a CSI; Learn the historical background of crime scene investigation and the forensic disciplines involved; overview and look at real cases and differentiate between what is real and what you see on crime shows. Finally, we will examine the importance of 'evidence' collection and its management.
