COPsync Inc.'s COURTsync provides a higher level of courthouse protection and efficiency and includes the features of the COPsync911 threat-alert system and the WARRANTsync module, which permits law enforcement officers to access the Company’s Class C warrant database. COURTsync is initially available for county, municipal and Justice of the Peace (JP) courts in Texas.

COURTsync provides security to judges and court personnel via a GPS-enabled mobile and desktop application. With COURTsync, courts may also increase their efficiency and productivity through real-time information among subscribing courts and law enforcement officers, as well as having 24/7/365 access to the Company’s Class C warrant database.

Ronald A. Woessner, CEO of COPsync, said, “We live in dangerous times. Two law enforcement officers have been killed in the line of duty just a few weeks into the year. The media constantly reports horrific acts of violence and the federal government’s watch list of known or suspected terrorists purportedly numbers approximately 1.1 million persons -- which is approximately the same number of U.S. law enforcement officers. These pressing dangers require heightened protection for our judiciary. As guardians of the law, they are potential targets. Keeping our judges, jurors and courthouses safer should be a national priority. The threat-alert features of the COURTsync system provide additional means to protect the security of the country’s judicial operations.”

COURTsync provides an enhanced level of protection and effectiveness via several features:

  • In the event of a courthouse threat, a panic alert, activated via Microsoft Windows court computers or mobile devices of the judge or court personnel, is linked directly to the five geographically closest officers in their patrol cars.
  • Informs the 9-1-1 dispatch center of the activated threat-alert simultaneously while informing the closest patrol officers and allows unified communication among the court, officers, 9-1-1 dispatch center, EMS and fire department.
  • Ability to query federal law enforcement databases and dangerous persons databases.
