National Law Enforcement Hall of Fame Opens 2027 Nominations

The move to Lexington marks a new chapter for the Hall of Fame as the organization continues expanding its national footprint and recognition efforts.
"Every year, we are reminded that behind the badge are incredible stories of courage, sacrifice, leadership and service that deserve to be remembered," Megan Stockburger, co-founder and executive director of the National Law Enforcement Officer Hall of Fame, said in a statement. "These nominations allow departments, families, colleagues and communities across the country to help us tell those stories and ensure exceptional service is never forgotten."
Award categories include:
- Distinguished Service Award for an exceptional career of leadership, service and impact.
- Courage in Service Award recognizing extraordinary bravery in the line of duty.
- K9 Award honoring outstanding K-9 teams and their contributions to public safety.
- The McDavid Group Never Forgotten Award recognizing a legacy of service and sacrifice.
- Additional Hall of Fame categories honoring achievement, innovation, leadership and service within law enforcement.
The Hall of Fame encourages nominations from agencies, colleagues, family members and community members.
