Officer Down: Deputy Sheriff Terry Dyer

TENNESEE-Deputy Sheriff Terry Dyer, of the Madison County Sheriff's Office, died April 20, 2021 from a heart attack. Two days after Deputy Dyer responded to a domestic violence call at a church, he collapsed while he was in court. He was given medical attention and was taken to the hospital where he passed away. 

Deputy Syer served with the Madison County Sheriff's Office for thirty-three years and was a U.S. Army veteran. Deputy Dyer is survived by his daughter.
