The Smartcuff TL is a ruggedized 128 MB USB digital data storage device integrated with a disposable handcuff system.Using Smartcuffs, any form of digital data including electronic forms, digital photographs, video, audio and biometric signatures can be securely transported with the arrested person. Developed for use with electronic ticketing and arrest systems, as well as biometric enrollment stations, the Smartcuff is compatible with most laptop, desktop, handheld or in-car computers, and can store up to two hours of compressed video and audio, thousands of pages of electronic forms and tens of thousands of biometric signatures. No specialized software is needed to interface with the Smartcuff system.
