Officer Down: Officer Nicholas Blow

TENNESEE-Officer Nicholas Blow of the Memphis Police Department, died after he was in a vehicle crash on Monday, March 8, 2021. Officer Blow was hit by a drunk diver as he was on his way home after his shift. 

At around 10:15 pm, driver Robert Jackson, crashed into the officer. Jackson had twice the legal limit of alcohol in his system and was arrested for vehicular homicide on Friday. 

Officer Blow was taken to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries several days later. He was an eight-year veteran of the U. S. Army, and joined the Memphis Police Department in 2018. 

He is survived by his financee, and two children.
