Armed robbery suspects led police in Michigan on a nearly 30-mile chase last week, and part of the pursuit was caught on home security cameras.
The chase began Wednesday in Hazel Park, WDIV-TV reports. Michigan State Police joined Hazel Park units when the suspects reached the highway, and the pursuit went for 27 miles to Brownstown Township.
Once there, the suspect tried to elude authorities by driving down a cul-de-sac. Footage from a home security camera captured police and the suspect driving along a home's driveway and walk.
"I guess they were trying to hide in my driveway, and the cops blocked them in," the owner of the house told WDIV. "When they tried to cut out through here, they took part of my porch with them."
Witnesses said the car eventually stopped, and two people fled the vehicle on foot. One suspect was tackled by officers, while another tried to hide by climbing up a tree.
Both men were taken into custody by Hazel Park police. No details were released concerning charges or the reasons behind the chase.
A police car was damaged during the incident, but no injuries were reported.
