12-Year-Old Girl Leads Texas Police on High-Speed Chase

The girl allegedly stole an SUV in Louisiana and was pursued by police in Orange, Texas, until the girl eventually pulled over.

A 12-year-old runaway girl stole an SUV in Louisiana and led police on a chase through Texas on Wednesday.

The incident happened at around 11:40 p.m. after Orange, TX, police received a report about a stolen Nissan Murano, KMBT-TV reports. The SUV had been stolen in Toomey, LA, and it fled police at high speeds to Port Arthur.

Eventually, the 12-year-old pulled over, and she was taken into custody. Police also took two girls and a man into custody.

No one was injured in the incident.
