Two Dallas police officers were hospitalized after a marked police vehicle was involved in a collision with another car, police said.

According to a statement from the department, the crash happened at about 8:30 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of Peavy Road and North Buckner Boulevard. Police said the officers were responding to an emergency call and had their lights activated at the time of the crash.

Police said two officers were taken to the hospital in stable condition. Police said the other driver was not taken to the hospital.
