Two Dallas police officers were left with minor injuries after their squad cars crashed into each other Thursday night in Oak Lawn.
According to Dallas police, officers were responding to an assist officer call for help with an arrest at about 9:35 p.m. in the 3900 block of Maple Avenue. As police were responding, the two squad cars crashed into one another.
The injured officers were cleared at the scene by Dallas Fire-Rescue, police said.
Police did not say what kind of case the officers were responding to, or if anyone was arrested.
A video posted to social media showed the two squad cars on the sidewalk in front of the IBC Bank building on Maple Avenue. Both cars had their hazard lights on and one squad car had smoke coming from under the hood.
