Two Nassau County police officers were treated and released from an area hospital after the police vehicle they were in struck the median on the Meadowbrook State Parkway in Uniondale Tuesday night, police said.

The accident, which involved no other vehicle, happened around 10:54 p.m. as the officers were responding to a burglary call, said the police spokeswoman.

No other details were available.
