ATLANTIC CITY, NJ—Seven people were injured, including two police officers, in a Boardwalk accident Saturday afternoon.

The accident occurred around 1:41 p.m. at Brighton Ave., when two officers, who were riding police all-terrain vehicles, collided with each other while patrolling the Boardwalk, acting Chief Andrew Leonard said.

As a result of the collision, two pedestrians and a Boardwalk tram car were also struck, resulting in seven people total being injured, Leonard said.

Video of the crash was posted on social media.

All involved were treated at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division. The accident is under investigation, Leonard said.
