Portable RediAlert™ R.D.E.S.™ (Rapid Dispatch Emergency Signs) support information needs of the Department of Homeland Security, law-enforcement agencies, public works managers, Departments of Transportation (DOTs), and other first responders. RediAlert™ communicates critical information and urges caution in dangerous situations. One person can deploy in less than 5 minutes. Illuminated screen (3 by 5 ft.) contains Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) that remain visible in almost any weather condition. Bundled keyboard or optional wireless PDA can input 3 lines of programmable messaging. Screen color monochrome amber and rotates for desired viewing angle. Sign meets DOT-specific incident management heights in harsh and windy weather. Runs on 12-v. power source, with optional solar panels, battery packs, and adapter to fit into vehicle's cigarette lighter. Folds into size of a suitcase for transport. Overall weight is about 39 lbs.
