An Arkansas State Police trooper stopped a woman driving erratically during a high-speed chase with a child inside her car in March.

The pursuit happened at about 2:30 p.m. March 2 when a state police trooper tried to pull over a driver, later identified as Thalia Jones, who was going 80 mph in a 55-mph zone near Joiner, KARK-TV reports. During the chase, Jones swerved into oncoming traffic

In order to stop Jones, the trooper performed a Tactical Vehicle Intervention (TVI). The maneuver caused Jones to lose control of the vehicle, which struck a sign and mailbox before flipping over in a field.

Following the crash, a 3-year-old boy crawled out of the car. Jones then crawled out, and she was taken into custody.

The two were uninjured in the crash and medically cleared at the scene. The trooper's dashboard camera captured the incident.

Jones was charged on multiple counts, including reckless driving, endangering the welfare of a minor 1st degree and driving on a suspended license.
