Sacramento City Council voted unanimously Tuesday to adopt a list of updates to the police department's use-of-force policy.
Sacramento City Council voted unanimously Tuesday to adopt a list of updates to the police department's use-of-force policy. The last time the city council made significant changes to the police use-of-force policy was in 2016. The changes proposed last week and approved Tuesday are, according to city leaders, among the most rigorous in the nation.
