Incident at White Castle

In The Line Of Duty has added the "Incident at White Castle" to its training video library. "Incident at White Castle" examines use-of-force and control tactics. The program includes clips of the incident that were broadcast by the news media. Now, officers see the real and complete story of what happened through actual footage of Cincinnati police officers being assaulted by an unstoppable, 350-pound man, later found to be high on drugs. The video emphasizes a number of important lessons for officers, including using verbal commands, exercising control and compassion, maintaining a will to survive, and utilizing video cameras to document crimes. The program also includes training in the proper use of the PR-24 baton and the advanced TASER.
