The Interactive Image Systems JTS-5 Firearms Judgement Training System is designed to provide a comprehensive, easy-to-use tool for instructors to train and evaluate students and in-service personnel in the use of deadly force. By using an interactive training approach, the student is required to exercise on-the-spot judgement in response to a variety of projected video threat scenarios, which are included in the system. Features of the JTS-5 include the use of the officer's own weapon; simultaneous playback of the student and scenarios, with frame-by-frame review; and the ability to run the system with an agency's own computer, including a laptop.
