Dvorak Instruments' Air Recoil System (ARS) is a drop-in firearms training system for semi-automatic and automatic weapons that produces a felt recoil, an audible "blast" and a laser pulse with each pull of the trigger. No special training weapon is required, and after training, the firearm is easily converted back to its regular live-fire operation. The ARS system uses compressed air, CO2 or nitrogen to cycle the gun's slide or bolt. A special laser-sensing electronic target senses each laser "shot." Air recoil kits are available for Beretta, Colt, Glock, H'K and Sig Sauer handguns. It is also available for AR-15/M-4/M-16 rifles and MP5 submachine guns.
