CommandSim Department Edition is a multiplayer system that can be used to train and assess leader and team performance. It runs on a network of computers, either in a local network or on the Internet. Instructors log in to set up the exercise and the responders log in individually. When responders "arrive" on scene, they navigate through the scene independent of other responders. Instructors can dynamically evolve an incident, immediately updating responders' views based upon their scene locations. Instructors can also target one or more responders with specific changes seen only by those responders. Customers create their own scenarios using their own photographs, videos, and high-fidelity animations and simulations, so responders can practice on actual or fictitious incidents that occur in their local jurisdiction. Scenarios can be as simple as static images or as complex as the one's imagination, including realistic animations, victims, and interactive equipment.
