FAIRFAX, Va. – (January 26, 2015) Fairfax 2015 and the World Police & Fire Games (WPFG) today announced their growing lineup of Fairfax 2015 Proud Host partners. To date, 24 local entities have committed to serving as Proud Host partners for the Games, which are expected to bring more than 12,000 law enforcement officer and firefighter athletes to Fairfax County and the National Capital Region.
The Fairfax 2015 Proud Hosts include Apple Federal Credit Union, LMI, Noblis, B.F. Saul Company, Galls LLC, Sage Communications, Macerich, Glory Days Grill, Reston Limousine, City of Fairfax, Karin’s Florist, NOVA Media Services, Clyde’s Restaurant Group, Level3 Communications, the Verizon Foundation, Globe, Dewberry, IMC, ESPN 980, Serco, Loudoun County, Grant Thornton, Prince William Convention and Visitors Bureau and Booz Allen Hamilton.
The Proud Host program targets local businesses, organizations and municipalities looking to support the first responders participating in the Games. The program offers a range of benefits, including opportunities to engage with the Games’ hero athletes. Among other benefits, Proud Hosts will be able to select their very own Games sport at the March 2015 Sport Draft Party. Proud Hosts will then be recognized at the venue of the sport chosen and have additional activation rights at that location. With the Sports Draft Party selection deadline of February 16, fast approaching, Fairfax 2015 is expecting to double the current number of participating companies.

In addition to the Proud Host program, Fairfax 2015 also offers Official Partner and Official Provider programs targeted at companies interested in greater integration into the Games. 2015 Games Partners include Keolis, Northrop Grumman, Inova, Scott Safety, Pierce and SAIC. Current official Providers are Cardinal Bank, ICMA-RC, Venable LLP, Guernsey and Cordia Partners. The support for the first responder community provided by Proud Hosts, Providers and Official Partners is critical to making the 2015 World Police and Fire Games possible.
