Border Security Expo 2026
PHOENIX, Ariz. — Border Security Expo 2026 is scheduled for May 5–6 at the Phoenix Convention Center, bringing together federal, state, and local law enforcement officials alongside military and industry partners to address current border security challenges and operational priorities.
The annual event is expected to draw thousands of decision-makers and practitioners focused on border operations, including personnel responsible for enforcement, intelligence, and interagency coordination. According to event organizers, the expo is designed to facilitate direct engagement between public safety agencies and private-sector solution providers as agencies adapt to evolving demands related to immigration, national security, and cross-border commerce.
Keynote sessions and general programming will feature updates from government and law enforcement leaders outlining operational priorities, resource challenges, and policy considerations affecting border security missions. The event also includes breakout sessions intended to provide more detailed discussions on specific operational issues and emerging threats.
The expo’s exhibit hall will feature more than 225 manufacturers and service providers showcasing technologies currently used or under consideration by law enforcement and border agencies. These include systems and equipment related to:
- Surveillance and detection, including airborne and ground-based platforms
- Biometric identification and screening technologies
- Command and control systems and communications infrastructure
- Cybersecurity and intelligence-sharing tools
- Tactical equipment and non-lethal force options
- Unmanned aerial and ground vehicles
For law enforcement agencies, the event provides an opportunity to evaluate tools that may affect officer safety, situational awareness, and response capabilities in border environments. Technologies such as license plate readers, thermal imaging systems, and intrusion detection platforms are expected to be among the featured solutions relevant to field operations.
In addition to technology demonstrations, the event emphasizes interagency collaboration and procurement engagement. Organizers state that senior policy leaders, operational commanders, and procurement officials will be present, allowing agencies to align operational needs with available resources and funding strategies.
Scheduled activities begin with exhibitor setup on May 3–4, followed by registration and a welcome reception on May 4. The main program runs May 5–6, including keynote sessions, exhibit hall access, and networking events. The event will also host the HSToday National Border Security Awards on May 5.
According to organizers, the expo is structured to support coordination across jurisdictions and disciplines, with an emphasis on practical solutions and information-sharing among agencies tasked with border enforcement and security operations.
In a statement, organizers described the event as a forum where “mission priorities meet real-world solutions,” highlighting its focus on operational readiness and collaboration across the border security community.
