More Info on The Tranquil Mind
The Tranquil Mind offers stress management programs to individuals, groups and corporations. In particular, a widely researched meditation technique or "relaxation reponse" developed by internationally renowned M.D. and mind-body expert, Deepak Chopra is taught. Recent issues of US News and World Report, Times Magazine and the Wall Street Journal have featured articles on the effectiveness of these techniques in providing deep rest, lowering blood pressure, increasing energy, clarity, memory and general wellbeing. Services range from 60-90 minute guest lecture presentations to seven hour workshops. Participants will learn the technique and understand how it works from a physiological and scientific perspective. Advances in bio-feedback are also presented. Presentations and workshops are conducted by Shelley S. Glickstein, Ph.D., a certified instructor and lecturer for the Chopra Center for Wellbeing at La Costa.
