    For the last seven years Enforcement Expo has been producing high-caliber events for law enforcement personnel. The classes and seminars featured at the expo are specifically are aimed at helping LE folk function at their very best, in a variety of situations. This fall, for the first time ever, Enforcement Expo they will be in Las Vegas. First responders from all over the United States are encouraged to attend the show, co-located with EMS World Expo and Firehouse Central, August 30 – September 2, 2011 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

    A free, three-day admission pass will be available to Enforcement Expo attendees that includes over forty classes available for POST educational credit. Classes will be about 75 minutes long and are available for 1.25 hours each of POST continuing education credit. Examples include: Active Shooter Update: Lessons Learned; Mexican Drug Cartels and U.S. Gang Affiliations; and Underage Liquor Violations.

    Attendees will also have the opportunity to expand their training by enrolling in preconference workshops. These four- or eight-hour sessions will be available for a small fee. Topics include ethics and leadership, reality-based training, response to terrorist events, managing hotel casino security operations, and excited delirium. The amount of hours attended will determine the amount of POST continuing education credits individuals can earn.

    Networking with others in the public safety industry is major benefit of all trade shows and continued education opportunities. With more than 5,000 people expected this year, opportunities abound to share personal challenges, insight and success stories. Law enforcement, EMS and fire attendees will all have a change to interact at the exhibit hall, multi-agency mass casualty event, Hollywood Nights networking party, a job fair and the opening ceremony.

    In addition, more than 400 law enforcement, EMS and fire companies will be featured at the exhibit hall. This is the place to be if you want a sneak peak at the newest products, services and technologies available to the public safety industry. Attendees are encouraged to talk directly with company representatives, shop and compare, discover and test new products, and learn more about servicing existing products and equipment.
