Dvorak Instruments' Tetherless Recoil System(TRS) is a drop-in firearms training system for semi-automatic and automatic weapons that produces a felt recoil, an audible "blast" and a laser pulse with each pull of the trigger. No special training weapon is required, and after training, the firearm is easily converted back to its regular live-fire operation. The TRS system uses compressed air, CO2 or nitrogen to cycle the gun's slide or bolt. A special laser-sensing electronic target senses each laser "shot." Air recoil kits are available for most hanguns, automatic rifles, machine guns and submachine guns.
